September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We are partnering with Dusty's Lines of Love Foundation to raise funds, and also collect fishing equipment for sick children and their families. Bring a fishing related item or donate to the fund starting September 1st and receive a free pass!

About the event
Dusty Lane Brock was 16 years old when he passed away from Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. His mom, our assistant director, Jamie Alkire started the foundation in ways to give back to children like Dusty and their families. Dusty's Lines of Love foundation provide much needed assistance to families of sick children by providing gift and food cards, toiletries and other necessities. They also provide fishing trips to allow the children to be children even if only for a few moments.
