The David Dale Murdoch Scholarship was established in honor and memory of David Dale Murdoch, founder of the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum, whose life’s work was dedicated to preserving history, educating future generations, and serving the community with integrity.

This scholarship fund exists to carry forward David’s legacy by supporting historic preservation efforts, educational initiatives, and law enforcement scholarships—causes that reflected his deep respect for heritage, learning, and public service.

In lieu of flowers, the Murdoch family invites those who wish to honor David’s life to consider making a contribution to this fund. Every donation helps ensure that his passion for history and education continues to make a lasting impact for generations to come.
